Prices effective September 2022
Consultations
We continue to offer some services by telephone, including repeat pill prescriptions and Early Medical Abortions. Other services may start with a telephone consultation with a Clinic Doctor, followed by an in-clinic visit if we need to take bloods or swabs, or if a procedure is involved.
A longer consultation may be subject to a higher charge, at the discretion of the doctor.
Additional Fees
In relation to your Doctor Consultation, there will be fees incurred for the services below.
Cervical Smear Testing
A sample of cells is taken from the cervix and checked for abnormal cells.
Mirena / Jaydess / Kyleena Coils**
These Intra-Uterine Systems (IUS) are hormone-containing contraceptive devices.

Implanon**
A contraceptive implant used as a means of birth control.

IUDs (Copper)
Intrauterine Contraceptive Devices are a non-hormonal long-acting reversible contraception.
We offer appointments through the Free Contraception Scheme for women aged 17 – 26, find out what you will need to access free contraception.
STI Testing and Cryotherapy
This is a full screen for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and includes bloods, swabs. The cost of any medication required will be extra.
Pre-Pregnancy Care
We provide pre-pregnancy services to assist you in your journey of starting a family.
Fertility Investigations
Additional investigations, such as a private smear or AMH test, will incur an extra charge.
Pregnancy Testing
We look for a special hormone in blood present when a woman is pregnant.
Menopause Consultation
This is a 30min appointment with the doctor, and includes bloods, if necessary.
Ring Pessary Insertion
A removable device that is placed in the vagina to provide support.
HPV Vaccine (Gardasil 9)
This requires three visits over a six-month period, and includes the cost of the vaccines.
Crisis Pregnancy Services
There are a wide variety of reasons which will impel a woman to define her pregnancy as a crisis pregnancy, and to consider terminating that pregnancy.
General Counselling
Including anxiety/depression, stress management, relationship issues, self-esteem/self-confidence, life transitions/crisis and bereavement.
We offer free services to medical card holders at our Coolock Clinic, with nominal charges for STI Screening and fitting of Long Acting Reversible Contraceptives (LARCs).
To secure all long visits, we require a €50 deposit from patients at time of booking. This is forfeited if the appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of date of attending or in cases of non-attendance.
*Early Medical Abortion is free if you normally live in the Republic of Ireland and provide us with a PPS Number. A medical check-up after an abortion is free if you have had your early medical abortion with us, you have been referred back to us from a hospital, or have had to travel out of the country for your procedure.
**There is a purchase cost for Mirena, Kyleena and Implanon of approximately €80 at pharmacies (under the Drug Payment Scheme).
